How to work with a Japan DMC — the Explera way.

Explera is a B2B destination management company for Japan. We build and run programmes for travel agents and tour operators at net rates, and every quotation is costed by hand for the group in front of us. These are the rules that let our Japan team do that quickly.

How do I get a Japan quotation from Explera?

Email your full requirements — dates, travellers, hotel category, cities and services — to b2b@explera.jp as a new email with a clear subject line. Each Japan enquiry carries a US$100 quotation fee, credited in full against your invoice when the booking is confirmed.

The four rules

How to collaborate with us.

01

Send your full requirements

Travel dates, number of travellers (adults and children), hotel category, the cities to cover and every service you need — to b2b@explera.jp. We cannot quote from a one-line request.

02

One enquiry, one fresh email

Start every new enquiry in a new email with a clear subject line, for example “Japan Group — 15 Pax — Oct 2026”. Please do not reply on an old thread: each file is tracked separately, and mixed threads delay your quotation.

03

US$100 quotation fee

Each Japan enquiry carries a US$100 fee for the costed quotation and day-by-day itinerary, paid before we start. It is credited in full against your invoice when the booking is confirmed.

04

Costed for your brief

We do not send rate sheets, blanket price lists or general promotions. Every proposal is costed by hand against your requirements — that is what makes our net rates quotable.

The US$100 quotation fee, in plain terms

The fee covers the costed quotation and the day-by-day itinerary for one enquiry. It is paid before our team starts work. When the booking is confirmed, the full US$100 is deducted from your invoice, so a confirmed booking costs you nothing extra. If the booking does not go ahead, the fee is not refunded. Payment options are on our payments page.

After you write

What happens next.

Our Japan team reviews your requirements and replies with a proposal built for your market and your travellers, at net rates you can mark up. Every proposal is white-label: we never contact your client.

For hotels and services with live availability, you can also register on our B2B booking platform.

FAQ

Questions agents ask about our process.

Does Explera charge for a Japan quotation?

Yes. Each Japan enquiry carries a US$100 fee for the costed quotation and day-by-day itinerary, paid before we start work. When the booking is confirmed, the full US$100 is credited against your invoice. If the booking does not go ahead, the fee is not refunded.

Is the US$100 fee charged for every enquiry?

Yes — the fee applies per enquiry, meaning each new file you send in a fresh email. That is also why we ask for every new requirement to arrive as a new email with its own subject line.

What should a Japan enquiry include?

Travel dates, the number of travellers split into adults and children, the hotel category, the cities to cover and every service you need, such as transfers, guides, rail or meals. The more complete the brief, the faster and more accurate the quotation.

Can I reply on an old email thread with a new request?

Please do not. Send each new enquiry as a new email with a descriptive subject line, for example “Japan Group — 15 Pax — Oct 2026”. Each file is tracked separately, and requests mixed into old threads delay the quotation.

Do you send rate sheets or package price lists?

No. We do not send rate sheets, blanket price lists or general promotions. Every proposal is costed by hand against the requirements you submit, at net rates you can mark up. The itineraries on this website show the kind of programme we build; your quotation is always costed for your group.
