## The 10-day template - Days 1–3 — Tokyo. Arrival, 东京 highlights (Asakusa, Shibuya, teamLab), a food walk, and a day trip option (Nikko or Kamakura). - Day 4 — Hakone / Mt Fuji. Onsen ryokan night with 富士山 views — the experiential centre of the trip. - Day 5 — Travel to Kyoto. Shinkansen with luggage forwarding; afternoon in eastern Kyoto. - Days 6–7 — Kyoto. 京都 temples, Arashiyama, a tea ceremony and Gion at dusk. - Day 8 — Nara day trip.
