Explera DMC Japan plans PokéPark KANTO visits for families and small groups. The park opened on 5 February 2026 inside Yomiuriland, on the western edge of Tokyo, as the first permanent outdoor Pokémon facility. Entry is by dated ticket, and guests living outside Japan buy through a separate English-language site.
From admissions in November 2026, overseas ticket holders must show their original passport at the gate for an identity check. Copies are not accepted, so this belongs in every client briefing.
How does PokéPark KANTO work?
- Three areas. PokéPark Entrance Plaza, the Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town.
- The Pokémon Forest. Entry is limited because the forest path is steep, with many steps. Children under five cannot enter it.
- Passes. The Ace Trainer's Pass covers the forest and Sedge Town at any time. The Trainer's Pass gives one timed forest entry and Sedge Town. The Town Pass covers Sedge Town only.
- Some attractions need extra tickets. A few shows and shops use limited-access tickets booked in the official app.

How do we plan a visit for family groups?
- Book the date early. Tickets are released for set periods and can sell out, so we secure them as soon as the travel date is fixed.
- Match the pass to the ages. Families with children under five may not need forest access, so the pass choice changes.
- Passports at the gate. We remind every overseas guest to carry their own original passport on the day.
- Plan the day around it. The park is a half-day or full-day visit, so we keep the rest of the day light and arrange transfers from central Tokyo.
