Waldorf Astoria Tokyo Nihonbashi: Opening Autumn 2027

Explera DMC Japan is adding Waldorf Astoria Tokyo Nihonbashi to its 2027 luxury plans for Tokyo. The 197-room hotel opens in autumn 2027 on the 39th to 47th floors of Tokyo Midtown Nihonbashi, a new Mitsui Fudosan tower directly connected to Nihonbashi Station. Hilton will manage it.

The tower was completed at the end of September 2026, and Mitsui Fudosan plans the full opening of Tokyo Midtown Nihonbashi for autumn 2027.

What will Waldorf Astoria Tokyo Nihonbashi offer?

197 rooms. On the upper floors of the tower, from the 39th to the 47th.
Three restaurants and Peacock Alley. Peacock Alley is the lounge and bar found in Waldorf Astoria hotels.
Pool and spa. An indoor pool and a spa.
Station access. A direct link to Nihonbashi Station, with Tokyo Station a short ride or walk away.

How do we plan groups around it?

Small luxury groups. A 197-room hotel suits incentive groups and private travellers rather than very large groups.
Old Tokyo on the doorstep. Nihonbashi has long-established shops, department stores and the start of the old Edo roads, all easy for walking tours.
