Explera DMC Japan is adding Conrad Yokohama to its 2027 plans for luxury and MICE groups in Kanto. Hilton says the hotel opens in 2027 with 272 rooms on 16 levels of a 40-storey tower in central Yokohama, with an executive lounge, four places to eat and drink, meeting space, a spa and an indoor pool.
It will be Hilton's Conrad brand in Yokohama, Japan's second-largest city. Hilton signed the hotel with Daiwa Jisyo, the owner. No opening month has been published yet.
What will Conrad Yokohama offer?
- 272 rooms. Hilton describes them as spacious, across 16 levels of the tower.
- An executive lounge. Useful for VIP and incentive guests who need a quiet place to work or meet.
- Four dining options. Enough choice for a group to eat in on arrival night.
- Meeting space, a spa and an indoor pool. The meeting rooms suit board meetings and small events; the spa and pool give free time a use in any season.
How do we plan groups around it?
- Wait for the date before we sell it. Hilton has given only the year, so we do not fix a 2027 programme on this hotel until the opening date is published.
- Think about GREEN×EXPO 2027. The expo runs in Yokohama from 19 March to 26 September 2027, so we expect busy hotel dates in the city and book early.
- Use Yokohama as a base. The city is under 30 minutes from central Tokyo, so a Yokohama stay works for a Tokyo programme, a cruise call or a Kamakura day.
